All grades are activated in our own rotary kilns, screened in-house and titrated batch by batch. Numbers below are guaranteed minimums per grade — every shipment carries its own COA.
Coal-Based Granular Activated Carbon
Crushed bituminous coal, steam-activated for a balanced micro/mesopore structure. The economical choice for municipal water, industrial wastewater polishing, and general gas-phase duty where tonnage matters more than the last mg/g of iodine.
Grades: iodine 800 / 900 / 1000 / 1100 mg/g · mesh 4×8, 6×12, 8×30, 12×40 · hardness ≥90% · ash ≤12% (acid-washed ≤5%) · moisture ≤5%
Coconut Shell Activated Carbon
Charred and steam-activated coconut shell delivers the densest micropore network and the hardest granule in the industry — which is why gold plants (CIL/CIP), drinking-water treatment and filter-cartridge makers specify it despite the premium.
Grades: iodine 1000 / 1100 / 1200 mg/g · mesh 6×12 (gold), 8×30, 12×40 · hardness ≥97% · platelets ≤1% · low attrition for stripping circuits
Wood-Based Powdered Activated Carbon
Phosphoric-acid or steam activated sawdust carbon with a wide mesopore structure that grabs large color molecules fast. Dosed straight into syrups, juices, plasma products and dye wastewater, then filtered out with the cake.
Grades: 200 / 325 mesh (≥90% pass) · methylene blue 120–200 mg/g · caramel decolorization grades · food-grade compliant options
Honeycomb Activated Carbon
Extruded monolith blocks with straight square channels: huge geometric surface at a fraction of a packed bed’s pressure drop. The standard media for VOC exhaust cabinets, paint-shop air treatment and RTO/RCO pre-concentration.
Grades: 100×100×100 / 100×100×50 mm · cells 1.5–3 mm · CTC ≥60% · ordinary & water-resistant binder · crush strength ≥0.8 MPa
Impregnated & Specialty Carbon
Base carbon is only half the job on reactive contaminants. We impregnate to duty: KOH/KI for H₂S and biogas desulfurization, sulfur for mercury capture, silver for antibacterial point-of-use water media — plus catalyst-carrier grades to your washcoat spec.

Columnar (Extruded) Pellets
Coal-based extruded cylinders with high CTC and very low dust — they pack evenly, resist attrition in deep beds and regenerate well. The default for solvent recovery, compressed-air purification, canisters and odor beds.
Grades: Ø3 / 4 / 6 mm · CTC 50 / 60 / 70% · hardness ≥95% · ash ≤10% · low-moisture packing for canister lines
